Nestled in the heart of Sidemen Valley, we created a hidden-away oasis suitable to accommodate couples, families and retreats. Darmada is a unique eco-resort set amidst unspoiled nature, offering a small variety of rooms with views of the Unda river and mountain Agung. Darmada Eco Resort is created to preserve the nature around our beautiful village and the holy spring Darmada. We work with a deep respect for nature and the local people of Sidemen, in which sustainability plays a powerful role.

Wayan, the host of Darmada, grew up in Sidemen Valley and is married to Barbara. Together, the Balinese-Dutch couple combine sustainable hospitality with the mission to preserve natural and authentic elements of the area, also giving back to the community.

Our restaurant Warung Melita offers Balinese and Western dishes. Enjoy brunch or dinner in our restaurant, or let us make you a picnic basket. We combine herbs, fruit and veggies from our own organic garden with local products. We have vegetarian options and are happy to accommodate those with special diet needs. Our other passion is creating beautiful and unique handmade cement tiles. Before we opened Darmada Eco Resort, we were inspired to revive the tradition of manufacturing cement tiles.
